This explains what happens to information you send us through this website.
Pending review. This notice is a working baseline written to describe how the site behaves. It has not yet been reviewed by a legal professional.
What we collect
Only what you type into the project enquiry form: your name, company, phone or WhatsApp number, and — if you choose to give them — your email address, a website or social link, and the details of your project, timing and budget range.
We do not ask for and do not want financial details, identity documents, or any sensitive personal information. Please do not send them.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to run the engagement. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside SUMAD, other than the service providers described below who store it on our behalf.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in our own internal management system, hosted on Google Firebase. The website itself is served by Cloudflare. Both process data on infrastructure outside Somaliland.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept while they may still be relevant and then deleted. Records relating to actual engagements are kept for as long as we need them for business and accounting purposes.
Analytics
No analytics or advertising trackers are running on this site at the time of writing. If we add them, this notice will be updated before they go live.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it.
